Once again this year, as has been the case since the first edition in 2009, my company participated in Bulk Wine in Amsterdam as an exhibitor alongside Patric Lorenzon & Partners, an international brokerage agency with which we are currently undergoing a process of integration/merger.
As always, the fair was very interesting, allowing us to meet bulk wine operators from all over the world in just two days (24 and 25 November 2025).
The number of visitors and exhibitors was slightly lower than last year, a trend that reflects the difficulties and uncertainties caused by the current complex international situation.
However, it is worth noting the massive presence of Italian wineries, which were able to offer a wide range of Italian wines, which in my opinion is one of the greatest advantages we have over our main competitors.
Finally, it is worth noting the considerable demand for non-alcoholic and low-alcohol wines, especially from the US and Northern Europe. If the possibility of producing these wines in Italy is confirmed by the end of the year, it would give a big advantage to our bottlers, who have so far been forced to send bulk wine abroad for dealcoholisation.
We therefore remain optimistic as we prepare to toast the arrival of the end-of-year festivities with a good glass of wine or sparkling wine.
